Withdrawal & Refund Policies
Withdrawals
Any student who withdraws from the Conservatory must notify the office.
Students who stop attending classes or rehearsals without notifying the
office will forfeit all claims to credit or refunds.
Refunds
Refunds are made in accordance with the Withdrawal/Refund schedule found
below and include a $25 processing fee. No refunds are given to anyone
dismissed for disciplinary reasons or to those who do not follow official
withdrawal procedures.

For the academic program, there are three payment plans available:
- Tuition can be paid in full before or on the first day of classes (Sept. 11 for the Junior and Senior divisions, and Sept. 18 for the Primary division)
- Tuition can be paid in two equal payments. The first payment should be made no later than the first day of classes for the respective division, and the last payment should be made no later than December 11.
- Tuition can be paid in four equal payments. The first payment should be made no later than the first day of classes for the respective division, the second no later than October 11, the third no later than November 11, and the last one no later than December 11.
Chamber program tuition is due in full on the first day of instruction:
- September 15 for the Eastside Chamber program
- September 17 for the Seattle Chamber program
Fees are to be collected as follows:
- Payments that are 7-29 days late
$50
- Payments that are 30+ days late
$50 for every 30 days of tardiness
- The returned check fee is $40
