Welcome to the Seattle Conservatory of Music website. Founded in 1994 as the Pacific Northwest's first music conservatory, SCM has succeeded in educating aspiring classical music pre-college students to be confident and seasoned performers, to be prepared for college application procedures and audition tours, to be accepted into collegiate music schools of choice, to pass out of collegiate music academic requirements, to be musical leaders, and to find friends of like mind.

As you search through this website, you will come upon age appropriate courses for children as young as three years old to young adults in their late teens. SCM's Senior Music Academic and Collegiate/Performance Preparation Programs, as well as its Primary and Junior Division Programs meet on Saturdays at Seattle Pacific University from September through May. Chamber Music rehearsals are scheduled on Tuesdays Hammond Ashley Violins in Issaquah and Thursdays in Seattle at Greenlake United Methodist Church.

Enjoy perusing our offerings and know that if you are interested in becoming a professional classical musician some day, you have discovered a goldmine!

Pre-College
We are a part-time school offering Saturday Music Academic classes for musicians ages 3-20 as well as weeknight chamber programs in Seattle and Issaquah for ages 8-20 from September through May.
